TRANSITARA provides chauffeur-driven travel and travel-related services based on the requirements communicated by the customer and the availability of the requested vehicle, chauffeur, route, date, and time.

Our services may include chauffeur-driven cars, airport transfers, corporate travel, event travel, travel arrangements, and other travel services offered by TRANSITARA.

The availability and scope of any service will depend on the specific booking or service request confirmed by TRANSITARA.

2. Enquiries and Quotations

Customers may submit enquiries through our website or contact TRANSITARA directly to request information or a quotation.

Any quotation provided by TRANSITARA will be based on the information available at the time of the quotation and may be subject to changes based on the final travel requirements.

A quotation does not constitute a confirmed booking unless the booking has been expressly confirmed by TRANSITARA.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding the travel date, pickup location, destination, passenger requirements, luggage, vehicle preferences, and any other information relevant to the requested service.

3. Booking Confirmation

A travel service will be considered confirmed only after TRANSITARA has accepted the booking and communicated confirmation to the customer.

Depending on the nature of the service, TRANSITARA may require advance payment, full payment, or other booking requirements before confirming the service.

TRANSITARA reserves the right to decline or cancel a service request where the requested vehicle, chauffeur, route, date, or service is unavailable.

4. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate information when making a booking or service request.

Customers are expected to:

  • Provide accurate pickup and drop-off details.
  • Provide the correct travel date and time.
  • Inform TRANSITARA of any special requirements in advance.
  • Ensure that the number of passengers and luggage information provided is accurate.
  • Follow reasonable instructions provided by the chauffeur or TRANSITARA representative.
  • Treat the vehicle, chauffeur, and service personnel with reasonable care and respect.
  • Ensure that passengers comply with applicable laws and safety requirements.

Customers may be responsible for additional costs resulting from incorrect information, changes requested after confirmation, additional waiting time, additional stops, or other requirements not included in the original booking.

5. Passenger and Vehicle Safety

Passenger safety is an important priority for TRANSITARA.

Passengers are expected to comply with applicable traffic and safety regulations during the journey.

Passengers must not engage in activities that may endanger themselves, the chauffeur, other passengers, or members of the public.

The chauffeur may refuse or discontinue a journey where a passenger’s behaviour creates a serious safety risk or violates applicable laws.

6. Vehicle and Chauffeur Allocation

For on-the-spot bookings, TRANSITARA requires a buffer time of approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour to arrange the vehicle and chauffeur. Availability is subject to the vehicle and chauffeur being available at the time of booking.TRANSITARA will make reasonable efforts to provide the vehicle and service requested by the customer.

However, the specific vehicle or chauffeur may be changed due to operational requirements, availability, maintenance, safety considerations, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where reasonably possible, TRANSITARA may provide a suitable alternative vehicle or chauffeur.

7. Pickup, Waiting Time and Delays

Customers are responsible for being available at the agreed pickup location at the confirmed time.

Additional waiting time may result in additional charges depending on the booking terms and the type of service requested.

For airport or other scheduled transfers, customers should provide accurate arrival information and notify TRANSITARA of any significant changes or delays as soon as reasonably possible.

TRANSITARA will make reasonable efforts to accommodate delays, but service availability may be affected by traffic, road conditions, operational limitations, or other circumstances outside our control.

8. Changes to a Booking

Customers should notify TRANSITARA as soon as possible if they need to change any booking details.

Changes may include:

  • Pickup or drop-off location.
  • Travel date or time.
  • Number of passengers.
  • Vehicle requirements.
  • Additional stops.
  • Additional waiting time.
  • Other service requirements.

Changes are subject to availability and may result in additional charges.

A change is not considered confirmed until TRANSITARA communicates acceptance of the requested change.

9. Cancellation

Cancellation requests must be communicated to TRANSITARA using the contact details provided during the booking process.

Any cancellation charges, refund eligibility, or applicable deadlines will depend on the specific booking terms communicated to the customer at the time of confirmation.

These may include additional waiting time, additional distance, extra stops, route changes, special vehicle requirements, or other services requested after confirmation.

Any applicable taxes, fees, or other charges will be communicated where reasonably possible.

11. Personal Belongings

Customers are responsible for their personal belongings and luggage during the journey.

TRANSITARA recommends that customers do not leave valuable, confidential, or important items unattended in vehicles.

TRANSITARA will make reasonable efforts to assist customers in recovering items left behind in a vehicle, but we cannot guarantee the recovery of lost or misplaced belongings.

Any items found or recovered from a vehicle will be collected and kept at the TRANSITARA office for the customer to collect.

If the customer requests the recovered item to be delivered to a specific location, the customer will be responsible for any applicable delivery charges, which will be calculated based on the distance and delivery location.

12. Prohibited Activities

Passengers must not use TRANSITARA vehicles or services for any unlawful or prohibited purpose.

The following activities are not permitted:

  • Carrying illegal substances, weapons, explosives, or other prohibited items.
  • Any activity that violates applicable local, state, or national laws.
  • Smoking or vaping inside the vehicle.
  • Carrying or consuming illegal drugs or controlled substances.
  • Excessive consumption of alcohol or any behaviour resulting in unsafe or disruptive conduct.
  • Behaviour that creates a serious safety risk to the passenger, chauffeur, or other road users.
  • Threatening, abusive, aggressive, or harassing behaviour towards the chauffeur, staff, passengers, or members of the public.
  • Intentional damage, misuse, or tampering with the vehicle or its equipment.
  • Carrying dangerous, hazardous, or flammable materials without prior approval.
  • Exceeding the permitted passenger capacity of the vehicle.
  • Interfering with or distracting the chauffeur while the vehicle is in motion.
  • Using the vehicle for commercial activities, unauthorized travel of goods, or any other purpose not agreed upon at the time of booking.
  • Transporting animals without prior approval, except where permitted under applicable requirements.
  • Leaving excessive waste or causing unreasonable soiling or damage to the vehicle’s interior.
  • Any activity that may compromise the safety, cleanliness, security, or proper operation of the vehicle.

TRANSITARA may refuse or discontinue a service where such conduct occurs.

13. Third-Party Services

TRANSITARA may, where appropriate, work with third-party service providers, travel partners, hotels, travel providers, technology providers, or other service partners to fulfil certain customer requirements.

Where a service is provided or fulfilled by a third party, additional terms or conditions may apply.

TRANSITARA will make reasonable efforts to work with reliable service providers but cannot be responsible for circumstances caused directly by an independent third-party provider beyond TRANSITARA’s reasonable control.

14. Delays and Circumstances Beyond Our Control

TRANSITARA will make reasonable efforts to provide services as confirmed.

However, we may experience delays, interruptions, changes, or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

These circumstances may include:

  • Traffic congestion.
  • Road closures.
  • Accidents.
  • Severe weather conditions.
  • Natural disasters.
  • Government restrictions.
  • Strikes or travel disruptions.
  • Vehicle breakdowns or maintenance requirements.

Where such circumstances occur, TRANSITARA will make reasonable efforts to provide appropriate assistance or alternative arrangements where possible.
